I’m William James Briggs and this site is about smart writing, web design, and blogging. I have been writing, designing websites, and organizing social media campaigns at a professional level since 2007. My goal is simple: make writing, web design, and social media exciting, relevant, and fun. I have successfully worked with many companies on their websites, blogs, articles, copy, promotional materials, and social media efforts. Currently, I am the editor, columnist, and designer of the BacharachBlog–a site focused on proactive leadership and management.

Prior to being a freelance writer in New York City, I lived in China for two years. Based in Shanghai, I was a marketing manager for an American consulting company and I wrote articles for many local publications. I graduated from Fordham University (Lincoln Center) where I studied international relations.
